The Matchmaking Event helps match UW faculty with grants eligible for an NIH Diversity supplement with eligible trainees.
The University of Washington is hosting a Matchmaking Event on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. This event with provide faculty an opportunity to conduct brief interviews with postbacc trainees who are interested in pursuing a career in research and qualify for funding through the NIH Diversity Supplement mechanism. Typically, NIH Diversity Supplements provide salary support for the trainee to work in a lab as a technician for 1-2 years. Trainees who make a match through the Matchmaking Event will have the opportunity to apply to the PROPEL NW Program.
