The ITI at the University of Washington is hosting a Matchmaking Event on Tuesday February 4, 2025. This event offers faculty the chance to conduct brief, 10-minute interviews with postbaccalaureate trainees who are interested in pursuing a research career and are eligible for funding through the NIH Diversity Supplement program. Typically, NIH Diversity Supplements provide salary support for the trainee to work in a lab as a technician for 1-2 years. Trainees who make a match through the Matchmaking Event will have the opportunity to apply to the PROPEL NW Program.
Interested faculty members and potential trainees can apply here. The application deadline is 5pm PST on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
